Access
No closures reported
No closure, fire or weather warning found in Forest Service, wildfire (NIFC) or National Weather Service feeds. That isn't confirmation it's open, so check with City of Monroe.
Checked 22 Oct · updated daily
No 2025-2026 closures found in search results or on the hot springs guide page, which lists the site as open year-round (checked 2026-10-18).
Source water is near boiling and the upper pool is often too hot to enter. Do not walk on the red mound, which hosts fragile thermophilic growth. Mineral deposits are slippery when wet. Mineral water permanently stains swimwear, so dark suits are advised. Dogs on leash and away from the hottest pools.
