Meadow Hot Springs is a set of three deep travertine pools on private land west of Meadow, with water from about 100 to 106F. The landowner lets the public visit for free on condition that posted rules are followed and asks for donations. Vandalism and off-road damage have been reported, so access depends on visitors behaving well.

Access
No closures reported
No closure, fire or weather warning found in Forest Service, wildfire (NIFC) or National Weather Service feeds. That isn't confirmation it's open, so check with the owner.
Checked 22 Oct · updated daily
No 2025-2026 closure found. An April 2026 article documents vandalism of gates, roads and donation boxes but no closure (checked 2026-10-18).
Pools are very deep (over 20 feet) around an underwater cave, and several drownings have been reported over a decade, so non-swimmers should use a life jacket. Travertine ledges are slippery. Untreated spring water, do not swallow it. Private land: follow posted rules (no littering, dumping or idling), keep to the road, and dogs must stay out of the pools. Access is informal and the owner can close it at any time. No official amoeba or algae advisory was found.
