Access
No closures reported
No closure, fire or weather warning found in Forest Service, wildfire (NIFC) or National Weather Service feeds. That isn't confirmation it's open, so check with Lake Mead National Recreation Area.
Checked 22 Oct · updated daily
As of 2026-10-18 the NPS Lake Mead alerts page lists no closure for Rogers Spring or Northshore Road; its 2026 seasonal closures cover strenuous trails (including Arizona Hot Springs), not this site. A late-2025 fecal bacteria closure applied to Arizona Hot Springs only, not Rogers Spring. Northshore Road resurfacing work has been reported in past seasons, so check the NPS page before travel.
NPS posts Naegleria fowleri warnings: do not submerge your head and do not let water enter your nose. Pool is shallow, roughly 3 feet at center. Desert heat in summer; monsoon flooding on park roads July to September.
