Chena Hot Springs Resort is a private resort at the end of Chena Hot Springs Road, about 60 miles northeast of Fairbanks. Its pool house offers a natural hot springs lake for adults, an indoor pool and hot tubs on a day-pass basis. It is open daily and year-round.

Checked Oct 2026: the resort pool house page shows normal daily hours with no closure notice. A search for 2026 fire, flood or road closures on Chena Hot Springs Road found only past events (most recent 2022 Middle Fork Fire, 2021 Munson Creek Fire) and nothing current.
Hot springs lake is restricted to guests aged 18 and over. No lifeguards on duty and children must be supervised at all times. Chena Hot Springs Road has seen wildfire and flood closures in past years (2013, 2014, 2016, 2021, 2022), and winter road conditions can be icy.
