Best time to go. A weekday afternoon was a successful visit for one group of 12 in September 2025. Weekends are more expensive.

Searches found no closure, fire, or road restriction affecting the resort in 2024 or 2025. The resort site said 20 pools were open and no reservations were needed. Tourism listings from 2025 and 2026 say it operates year-round. A source dated 2023 mentions Thursday closures, but the current site lists Monday-Thursday hours, so the Thursday closure is not confirmed. The OSM tag of camp_site is probably wrong, since lodging is the confirmed offering.

Know before you go

The hottest pools are limited to ages 12 and up. Only 8 pools are open to children under 12. Water reaches about 112 F. Recent reviews describe a few complaints about crowding in the quiet solarium, and about cold showers and facility upkeep.
