Remington Hot Springs is a free primitive soak on the Kern River in Sequoia National Forest, kept up by volunteers. No closure order for Remington was found, but the nearby Miracle Hot Springs was closed indefinitely by the Forest Service in February 2024. Check with the Kern River Ranger District for current access.
The trail is steep and may have washouts or downed trees after recent fires and flooding (USFS). High river water from dam releases can flood the lower pools. Glass is not permitted near the pools. The site is popular, so expect crowds.
